Lex van Eck

I am Lex van Eck (1952), born in Den Helder and living in Heumen. My love for aviation started early thanks to my father, a naval aviator. From my mother I inherited the talent to draw and paint. As a self-taught artist, I combine technology and art into realistic works, with airplanes, vintage cars and motorcycles as favorite subjects. My background as a mechanical engineer has further sharpened my eye for detail. I mainly work with acrylic paint.
